Official Bushwick Book Club Seattle puzzle inspired by the book "Parable of the Sower" by Octavia E. Butler

I've been a huge fan of Octavia's since I read "Kindred" in the 90's. Her work continues to blow my tiny mind politically and socially, while also entertaining my nerdy sci-fi/fantasy whims. 

In honor of her protagonist Lauren Oya Olamina, I built this puzzle around her philosophy. The starred clues are for those to whom this tenet's verses apply. Enjoy!
