It's the return of the MeepleCon crossword!

This is a traditional cryptic crossword where, unsurprisingly, many of the clues and answers relate to board games.

I know, it's the same theme as last year. Maybe European cities will be next year :-)

If you want to solve the puzzle on paper (often the best way) there is a PDF link in the bottom right hand corner.

Complete the crossword and look both ways - left and right - and you should know what to do - but when to do it?

Cryptic crosswords can feel scary if you're new to them, but once you're brain gets attuned to them they can be lots of fun! Note that whilst some cryptics still use antiquated abbreviations (i.e. from 1930's cricketing almanacs etc) this one only uses ones that are in common usage today. The only specialist knowledge assumed here relates, of course, to board games.
