GWR Castles 1 (Cryptic)
Phil Platt

Each answer is a British castle after which a Great Western Railway Castle-class steam locomotive was named. To keep it simple, the word "castle" is omitted from the answers.

In case your'e wondering what inspired this puzzle: I was born in Swindon and have always had an interest in God's Wonderful Railway!

There were 171 engines in this class so only a few are represented here, but I will be publishing more in the series.

In this first one, most (but not all) are in Wales

Enjoy!
