Homonyms ( words that sound alike but are not spelt the same)

The theme in todays crossword is homonyms. Each clue with an asterisk has an answer that is a homonym. When you solve these clues you will enter the alternative word in the puzzle ( e.g. Beast in heraldic Flemish artwork = hart ...................but you would enter 'heart' in the puzzle) Good luck!
